News & Press Releases - [Main Index] Conformance Test Solution for next wave of wireless terminals Anritsu’s HSPA Evolution Release 7 Protocol Conformance Test System selected for use by CETECOM 2009-05-12 The next wave of wireless terminals, that support advanced high speed data and IP services provided by 3GPP, are driving the need for the latest test solutions to validate and certify these functions. CETECOM has been one of the first to anticipate the growing need for conformance testing of these new 3GPP Release features, often referred to as HSPA Evolution. CETECOM have selected Anritsu’s Release 7 capability to enhance its state of the art accredited test facilities.CETECOM has invested with Anritsu to provide the new industry-leading ME7832A Protocol Conformance Test System which supplies the largest number of GCF/PTCRB Approved Test Cases. Anritsu has developed its new ME7832A Protocol Conformance Test System integrating the MD8480C W-CDMA Signalling Tester and MX785220A Protocol Conformance Toolkit to meet this requirement and eliminate troublesome setup, such as cable connections, software installation, and level correction, to maximize protocol conformance testing efficiency and shorten time to market. The ME7832A Protocol Conformance Test System supports all the latest technologies covered in the W-CDMA/HSPA 3GPP TS34.123 specification.
